Job description

• You will primarily be responsible for the development of REST and SOAP API for the Jodo platform.
• Handle End-to-End development across the whole API lifecycle, including documentation, design, testing, and deployment.
• Build backend services to support new and existing product features,
• Work on performance tuning, optimizing response time, scaling API Request handling,
• Actively participate in Peer code reviews to improve your ability to provide effective feedback, and to achieve higher quality code.
• Handle L2 support and Support Escalations

Technical & Essential Skills

• Experience designing & developing RESTful and SOAP APIs for Web and mobile applications using Java, Spring
• Excellent foundation in computer science, algorithms, and web design
• Experience writing highly secure web applications
• Hands-on experience working with caching technologies such as Redis, Memcached, etc
• Hands-on experience working with queuing technologies such as ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Hands-on experience working with databases such as MySQL, MariaDB
• Exposure to architectural patterns of large, high-scale web applications, such as well-designed APIs, high-volume data pipelines, and efficient algorithms.
• Experience in using any of the API dev tools such as Swagger, Postman, etc.
• Strong analytical and debugging abilities
• Self-motivated individual
• Excellent communication skills (Oral/written)

Desired Skills

• Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN
• Experience with the open-source projects

Qualifications and Experience

 B.Sc – Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. – Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers

 MCA – Computers, M.Tech – Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers

Min 2 years of hands-on experience on Rest API, Springboot, Microservices.
