How to Request Deletion of Your Jodo World Account and Data

This page explains how users of the Jodo World Application and Services (including mobile apps, web apps, and connected Jodo services) can request the permanent deletion of their account and associated personal data, what is deleted, what may be retained for a limited time, and for what reasons.

Steps to Request Account Deletion

  • Step 1 – Identify your account
    Confirm the email address or mobile number used to access the Jodo World Application or connected Jodo World services. This helps us accurately identify your account.
  • Step 2 – Send an account deletion request
    From your registered email address, send an email to:
    privacy@avhan.com

    Suggested subject line:
    “Account Deletion Request – Jodo World Application”
  • Step 3 – Include required details
    Your deletion request email should contain:
    • Your full name (optional)
    • Your registered email address and/or mobile number
    • Your country/region
    • A confirmation statement such as:
      “I request deletion of my Jodo World Application account and all associated personal data where legally permissible.”
  • Step 4 – Verification
    To protect your privacy, Avhan may require additional information to confirm your identity before processing deletion.
  • Step 5 – Processing
    Most deletion requests are completed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation once deletion and/or anonymization is completed.
Important: Account deletion is permanent. You will lose access to the Jodo World Application and all associated services, data, and history.

Data Retained Temporarily or as Required by Law

Data does not identify you personally.

We retain data only as long as necessary for operational, legal, or security purposes. Where possible, we anonymize rather than store personally identifiable data.

If You Access Jodo World Through an Organization

If your account is part of an enterprise deployment (for example, your employer, partner, or service provider uses Jodo World), the organization may be the primary data controller. We may need to coordinate with them to fulfill your deletion request.
